When it comes to Halloween, eventually we all get too old for trick or treating, but just because the free candy and roaming dark streets at night comes to an end...doesn’t mean that adults can’t indulge in the “spirit” of the season! Over the years some of the biggest Hollywood stars, influencers, models, singers and rock stars have gone all in on some of the most incredibly lavish Halloween costumes imaginable and some EPIC hair to boot! We’ve rounded up some of our favorites to help inspire you to up your haunt game this weekend!
Jamie Lee Curtis as...her MOM!
A few weeks ago Curtis stepped out for the Halloween Kills movie premiere in a costume that paid homage to her mother, Janet Leigh, best known for being the scream queen in Alfred Hitchcock’s iconic film “Psycho”. The hair was a classic blonde wig, teased and shaped to perfection to match the shaggy cut her Mom wore in the movie all those years ago.

Kourtney Kardashian with Travis Barker as Sid Vicious and Nancy Spungen
The Kardashians are known for going overboard on Halloween, but this week Kourtney with Travis Barker went as Sex Pistols bassist Sid Vicious and girlfriend Nancy Spungen. This morbid unsolved murder case pairing had her captioning “till death do us part” with Travis replying “our love will never dieeee”. Glad in leather, fishnets and a heavy eyeshadow, Kourtney’s 70s shaggy blonde mermaid hair was on point.
Cardi B as Medusa
Out of all the Halloween costumes we’ve ever seen on Insta, singer Cardi B’s Halloween 2020 costume is hands down one of the most original and well photographed we’ve ever seen. Fashion designer JAGNE collaborated with Laurel Dewitt to create a gold jeweled bodice piece with matching accessories and snake-like body. But it was the gold snake hair accessories woven into Cardi’s swirling, sculpted hair that really evoked the devilish Medusa that really crowns this look.
Hailey Bieber as Nurse Ratched
Back in 2020 model Hailey Bieber attended gal pal Kendall Jenner’s 25th birthday Halloween bash as Nurse Ratched from “One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest”. The plastic 1950s nurse outfit with the ruby red lipstick and classic wavy pageboy hairstyle was flawlessly vintage.
Kylie Jenner as a King Cobra
Kylie loves her Halloween, and also attending sister Kendall’s 25th birthday back in 2020 went as a full blown cobra in a stunning outfit designed by fashion designer Cad Wallader of MUGLER Fashion House. With sleek, black mermaid length hair, it was the crowning hood with fangs framing the face that made this outfit a stunner.
Dojacat as Princess Kida from Atlantis
For her birthday bash last week, rapper and singer Doja Cat celebrated with a Halloween themed party where she had a hair, makeup, nail and fashion team go to work to transform her into Princess Kida from Disney’s Atlantis. She sported pinky blonde hair, slicked down to look wet with an anime inspired piecey haircut. She’s not the only star to go Disney Princess. Check our last blog for more princess looks.
Demi Lovato as Pennywise from Stephen King’s “IT”
Back in 2019, Demi Lovato channeled the most recent incarnation of Pennywise the Dancing Clown with vibrant makeup and coppery red hair, twisted into tendrils. With a Victorian era clown outfit and dress and glowing red eyes she was every bit the epic villain.
Gigi Hadid as Sandy from Grease
For Heidi Klum’s 2015 Halloween gala, Gigi Hadid went full on greaser as Sandy from the iconic movie Grease. With caramel hued ringlets of hair cascading down her head, she sported boldly dark eyeshadow with a ruby red lip and matching nails and heels for the affair.
