Back in December, we had a 12 Days of Deals sale. Each deal got better and better every day. During these 12 days, we received hundreds of entries for our biggest giveaway of the year. One lucky winner received free hair extensions of their choice, our hair care mega bundle, and a free installation at our newly opened hair salon in Walnut Creek! Chelsea B. of San Jose was lucky enough to receive this once in a lifetime makeover. Check out her transformation below:
Custom Coloring the Hair
Chelsea wanted a lot of length so she requested just 1 bundle of our 26" wavy virgin hair weaves. We were easily able to color the hair to a deep burgundy to match her hair color. The wefts took the color very well because they are virgin and therefore have never been colored before. Our stylist was able to simply deposit the color onto the hair.
Choosing the Type of Extensions
At first, Chelsea wasn’t sure about what extension method would be best for her. If you are unsure, we always recommend scheduling a consultation at our hair extension salon with a stylist to figure out your best option. After speaking with our stylist, Chelsea realized that a permanent solution would be best for her, as she wanted her hair to last for as long as possible. She suggested getting a partial weave installation, which lasts about 6-8 weeks.
Sewing In the Wefted Tracks
Our stylist installed 5 rows of wefts to Chelsea’s hair. For each row, she made sure to leave enough hair out to blend with the weft for a flawless look. Since Chelsea’s hair was a little soft, she braided her hair with synthetic hair to give it a little extra texture for a stronger hold. Once she braided each row, she sewed the weft onto the braid. To give Chelsea the volume she was looking for, she sewed 2 weft pieces onto each row for a double wefted effect. For this partial sew-in, Our stylist used one bundle of our wavy 26” machine weft.
Versatility with Hair Extensions
Due to our stylist's placement of the wefts, Chelsea is able to wear her hair in several different styles. The wefts are up high enough that her hair can camouflage them with ease for any updo, such as a bun or a high ponytail. The length amplifies any style she’s going for. Since our hair is 100% Indian hair, she is able to heat style it like her own hair. She can wear it silky straight one day, rock her natural wavy texture the next, or switch it up with some curls. The styling possibilities are endless!
Chelsea’s transformation was a complete success!
