Here at Perfect Locks we love to give back to the community and to help others. As we are nearing a close to Breast Cancer Awareness month, we wanted to do 2 things to give back this year:
- Share a special story with you about Aisha (see below).
- Auction two pink custom made wigs, all of the proceeds will go to the Oakland Children’s Hospital! Want to learn how to participate in the auction, read below!
Aisha’s #PerfectMe Story of Survival
Perfect Locks partners with the Oakland Children’s Hospital to provide a free wig each month to a child in need. Earlier this year, Aisha was informed of a traumatic diagnosis which drastically changed her life. To build her confidence, and regain some normalcy, she started a search for a human hair wig to reclaim her look once again.
Aisha came in to our showroom in Walnut Creek, California for a custom wig fitting and decided to go with our Straight 16” Full Lace Wig. Our full lace wig provides her with more hairstyling possibilities while giving her a totally natural look. We then had our Perfect Locks Salon Stylist, Nick Sanchez, install the wig for her! As he was installing the wig, you could see Aisha's demeanor change. You could feel the excitement coming off of her! Needless to say, she was thrilled with the final result! We're Auctioning 2 Pink Wigs for Awareness!
You heard it right, we're auctioning 2 beautiful custom Remy human hair wigs to support breast cancer awareness! We have two very talented stylists create very vibrant pink wigs! 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the Oakland Children's Hospital to support the ongoing cancer research programs.
Say hello to 'Bubblegum Pop'
The first wig is from Celebrity stylist, Darnell Davis. He has created amazing looks for multiple celebrities such as Beyonce, Taraji P. Henson, Ryan Destiny, and more! He custom colored our Wavy 16” Platinum Blonde to this bright pink and cut it to his desired length. We love the peachy money pieces, as they are very on trend! Say Hello to 'Pretty In Pink'
The second wig was custom made by our very own Perfect Locks Salon Stylist, Nick Sanchez. He has been with Perfect Locks for 5 years but has been in the industry for over 30 years. He refreshed this bangin' 12” Straight Lace Front Wig with a dark purple root and added vivid pinks! We love the subtle variations of pink as it adds dimension!
