About the Role:

Perfect Locks seeks a Social Media Influencer Outreach Intern to be an appointed administrator of its social media communities on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, and YouTube. This position is responsible for co-creating, executing, managing, and moderating content feeds on all branded social media channels. Connecting with established online bloggers, influencer personalities, and brand partners through Youtube, Instagram, etc. are essential job duties that will help facilitate growth for the brand. This person will also assist in data analysis and strategical initiatives to ensure continual optimization of social media channels, as well as monitoring and reporting on competitive industry trends.

Responsibilities:

Community Management & Moderation 80%:

• Manage and publish relevant content and campaigns on Facebook, Google+, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, and YouTube, in accordance with content calendar schedule
• Strategize, promote, and coordinate campaign efforts of Brand Ambassadors,  Influencers, and Partners for the Perfect Locks brand
• Maintain content calendars and creative asset management for Perfect Locks' social media channels
• Maintain an ‘always-on’ presence on Perfect Locks' social media feeds to ensure we are responding to all user commentary, concerns, questions, and requests, in order to foster a positive community and add value to the user’s experience with the brand
• Monitor Perfect Locks' social media feeds for opportunities to interact with brand advocates and artists, find examples of relevant content to share with our users, and collect optimal examples of UGC
• Assist in copy creation for editorial calendars, blog posts, contests, and other social-related campaigns

Community Strategy 20%:

• Partner with the Social Media Manager to conceptualize campaigns and content to be featured on the Perfect Locks' social media channels
• Utilize social analytics tools like Facebook/Instagram Insights, Group High, Google Analytics, Sprout Social, and to help generate insights for social listening and reporting
• Help summarize analytics data to create actionable reports that lead to optimization of social channels

About You:

• Strong interest in design, communications, marketing advertising, public relations, media studies, business, and/or related fields.
• Actively participates in a wide variety of social media activities such as blogging, community development and management, social bookmarking, commenting, etc., with a focus on interior design, fashion, art and popular culture
• Exceptional understanding of popular social networks – design, functionality, users
• Demonstrated ability to produce community management guidelines and documents that reflects the holistic understanding and implementation of the role of social media and its effects
• Proficiency in Photoshop with an understanding of the principles of Art + Design
• Proficiency in social media analytics – a basic understanding is a must
• Very high attention to detail
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
